Little Pup Falls
Not quite as famous as its larger brother, Big Pup, the Little Pup Creek still has some decent drops on its length. It tumbles over some rapids and cascades through broken cracks in old volcanic rock as it flows out of the hills and down into the Yellow Dog River. Recent logging around the creek may leave it a bit clogged.
Directions
One mile south of County Road 510’s bridge over Big Pup Creek is a two-track leading east. Either drive a short distance down or park near the entrance of the two-track. Little Pup Creek flows over the track twice a few hundred feet in. Just past the second crossing the road straight ahead is blocked; park here. The larger drops sit just below the second crossing, off to the right of the road. Rather than bushwhacking down the creek, take the branch of the road that continues to the right, which parallels the creek until it crosses again just below the cascades. It is a very bad road to walk, but with your eyes and ears open the falls are easy enough to find from it. More small rapids run downstream, mostly within earshot of the road.

Quick note. After crossing the creek for the second time, the road straight ahead is blocked. Park here. The road continues to the right paralleling the creek until it crosses it just below the Cascades. Keeping your ears and eyes open you will be able to walk down this very bad road and find the Falls without having to bushwhack down creek from the crossing.
