Located right within Houghton, Huron Creek Falls is a tiny set of cascading drops with a distinctive urban flavor. Located behind the Copper Country Mental Health building, a stone's throw from a four-lane M-26, this waterfall is fairly east to reach. There are small rapids downstram on the way to Chutes and Ladders.
Directions
Park at Copper Country Mental Health Services off of M-26 on the back parking lot, close to the woods. With the traffic on M-26 it may be easiest to take Razorback north off of Sharon to get to the lot. Head down the gravel poor rock to the creek to see the falls.

Not going to lie - I was hesitant on calling these falls until I saw the drop by the Foot Doctor. I'd read about them in a few Michigan Tech documents, heard about them from friends, but was hesitant on calling them falls until I actually saw them. Ignoring the pollution and urban setting, they are rather pretty.
