Jacob and Emily have known each other since the mid-90s, growing up in the same small town and attending the same small school. Emily got a job working at the parks up north a few years after Jacob moved out of Houghton, starting at Newberry and eventually settling in the west in the Porkies. With a small dog Cooper and a trusty four-wheel drive, combined with a growing knowledge of the backwoods and local lore, Emily is a lot of fun to take on some of the tougher hikes back in the Ontonagon and Gogebic woods.
