Stories from the Start: Summer '08

It all started in the Summer of 2008 with a simple birthday adventure. One trip led to another, and slowly Jacob (and often his companions) began to canvas Houghton, Baraga, and Keweenaw county, hunting down waterfalls and rapids with a passion. Armed with little more than a camera, topographic profile, and Google map directions, over fifty waterfalls were methodically found and catalogued by a mixture of brute force and stubborness.
