Hiking Stories with Steele

A lovable oaf with a linebacker's build, Steele first met Jacob through a student group at Michigan Tech and soon became a familiar face around the Houghton house. He enjoyed a few summer hikes in '08, splashing tromps through shallow creeks in the Baraga area, and when winter hit was more than willing to brave the deep unplowed snow in his Jeep for snowy excursions in the Keweenaw.
